Could your child benefit from private tuition?

Does your child need any additional help in their primary school studies? Or are they preparing to sit SATS or GCSEs? Perhaps your child is falling behind in their work and they just need some extra support to boost their confidence. Finding a private tutor could be the answer. They tutor a vast range of subjects, from the basics English and Maths to languages and sciences, lessons can be tailored to your child’s needs. Lessons can be either one-to-one or in a small group and held weekly or more often if needed.

Talk to your child’s teacher to see if they are coping or if they would benefit from tuition. Find the right tutor and with gentle support and encouragement your child will grow in confidence and show a steady progression towards better exam results.

Unfortunately private tuition can be expensive, online support is another option that can be more cost effective. My Jolly Phonics offers a home kit that supports your child’s literacy skills. Their extensive range of easy-to-use materials are carefully developed for children in the early stages of reading and writing (3+).

Swimming Lessons for your Baby

Swimming classes for your baby can be great fun and a rewarding time spent with your child while teaching them an important life skill. Programmes can teach vital water confidence and safety skills from birth.

Through carefully structured training, babies can be taught life saving skills such as turning onto their backs or, following a sudden submersion, swimming to the nearest solid object. They grow familiar with what it feels like to fall into water, so that should they ever accidentally fall in they are far less likely to panic and drown.
